Snogbert (Demo)

Description—--------

Snogbert is a 2D platformer with characteristics of the roguelike/roguelite and arcade genres. It stars Snogbert–a mythical infinite-sided die–and his quest to return home after falling into a cave network inhabited by other sentient dice. 

The game features a “die roll” system that randomly assigns the criteria to complete each level. So, while the same set of levels is traversed with each run, players are encouraged to think about them differently every time.

Controls—------------

A/D/Left/Right to move.

Spacebar to jump.

When moving into a wall, press Spacebar again to wall jump. Snogbert's wall-jump is momentum-based; try inputting it at different times!

W/Up to open doors, once unlocked.

Complete each room’s criteria to unlock the door. The criteria changes each run. Try and see them all!

Original build was created for the GMTK game jam of 2022. 

This build is WIP, but further development has been paused. It should include worlds 1-2, but you will likely encounter the known error before then. I apologize for any frustration the error may cause, but there's currently no fix if it occurs.
